I got a taste for interior design when I was sixteen and helped my parents renovate their beach rental. I loved the process and finding creative ways to update the house on a tight budget to make it more appealing to vacationers. A few years later, they gave me carte blanche to gut their entire house and transform it, Extreme Home Makeover style.

I couldn’t find a bus to park out front, but the reveal was just as fun. Soon after, I bought a fixer-upper in Greenville, SC. I use the term “fixer upper” loosely—this house was nasty! My work on that house landed me a job with a custom-home builder on Lake Keowee. I had the amazing opportunity to design over a dozen high-end waterfront spec and custom homes on the same lake I’d spent every summer since I was 8 years old.

Since moving back to my home state, I feel so lucky to work with the BEST company doing what I love!
