The Savoy is a downtown Sarasota condominium built in 2006. The homeowners liked its proximity to cultural events and view of the bay. The condo features two offices and multiple living spaces. A big selling point was the separation of rooms: the kitchen is closed off from the main living areas which suits our client’s style of entertaining. The goal for this project was to integrate the homeowner’s art and furniture and add new pieces with texture and depth. We updated the bones of the condo using a less is more approach; all walls, ceilings, doors and trim are painted Benjamin Moore’s White Dove. We added beautiful quartzite countertops in the kitchen with a simple backsplash and refreshed the bar cabinetry and fireplace surround with a rich taupe paint.
