Interior Designer

My love and enthusiasm for design began at a very young age, but I didn’t fully embrace it until several years after moving to NYC. Renting tiny New York apartments never stopped me from creating the home I wanted. I would apply fresh coats of paint, swap out hardware, install new light fixtures, and create smarter storage, which made my roommates happy, and my landlords even happier. When friends and neighbors caught sight of what I had made possible, my freelance design business was born. From there, I began a career in hospitality design, where I worked for one of the best restaurant groups in the city. After two years, I was promoted to Director of Design, where I worked closely with senior management and led all design initiatives. Making the transition to residential design has been a dream come true!

A home is a reflection of the person living in it. To be able to help others express themselves through the design of their space is nothing short of an honor. It’s a TON of work, but creating homes that represent the uniqueness of the people living in them, gives me such joy.

about courtney

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. In May of 2020, my husband, daughter and I made the move to the Sarasota area to be closer to family, and to escape the hustle and bustle of NYC.

Whether it was an actress, a dancer, a singer, a painter, a stylist, I always knew I wanted to be an artist.

Years ago I was a pool shark, but I’d have to blow the dust off of my cue stick and get to the billiard hall to practice if I wanted to start hustling… again.

I’m ALL about a pair of high-waisted jeans or pants. For me, the longer the zipper the better!

It’s not that I love doing laundry… I just don’t trust my husband to separate accordingly or to read tags. 😜
